things have been rather quiet around these parts for quite
some time. But I assure you all, it hasn't been spent doing
nothing. Since the last update many a song has been written,
a new sport has been created and we're now preparing for
our second season (you'll see more of that soon!), beer
has been brewed, and a TON of paintings have been painted...ok,
and much debauchery has been had through the streets of
Chicago as well.
Speaking of paintings, I'll definitely be showcasing some
of my artwork here on CICHI, but in the mean time if you'd
like to get a sample in person, then please check out this
fundraiser for Haiti in Evanston this Saturday. It's called
Hott for Haiti at Next Door (706 Church Street).
Here's the blurb below:
Next door has hott clothes, hott jewelry, hott accessories
and the hottest clientele! So let's put all this hottness
to good use and help in the efforts to rebuild Haiti!
Saturday, June 18th, from 5-8 p.m. a portion of all proceeds
will go towards sustainability projects in Haiti. To celebrate
the event we'll be featuring music by DJ Romasoul, artwork
by 360, plus wine and cheese!
have fun, leave with some new hott items (for the hott weather
that may or may not be here), and feel good knowing your
purchases are helping a worthy cause.
only can you see interesting pieces like this, but you can
partake in free wine and cheese! What could be better?
Oh, and another way to see some of my artwork? by picking
up The Anomaly LP if you haven't done so already.
Anomaly LP (The Battle Cry), is for sale at
our store, so show your support! Not only is it a hot album
but it features my artwork as well, so support the endangered
CD media format while you still can. Click on Projects
to listen to clips from the album, or check out more on
the Myspace page
(ughh..yes, if feels dirty saying that, but it still
serves a purpose I suppose.)
